New Teacher Orientation Bingo Winners
The highlight of the luncheon was the New Teacher Orientation Bingo, where teachers engaged in a friendly game while networking and learning about our district’s initiatives. We are thrilled to announce the winners:

These lucky winners were rewarded with fantastic prizes to enhance their teaching experience. Our generous business partners provided the following prizes:
- A gift bag with a $50 Visa Gift Card from Western Governors University.
- Gateway donated a paper shredder.
- A performance oil change from Kingdom Auto Repair Service.
- A $50 gift card from Starbucks, donated by ATX Benjamin Realty.
Furthermore, eight more teachers were awarded a $25 Starbucks gift card from ATX Benjamin Realty to thank you for playing Vendor Bingo!
Special Awards and Prizes for New Teachers
In addition to the Bingo winners, the luncheon featured special awards designed to support new teachers as they set up their classrooms for the upcoming school year. 72 new teachers were randomly selected and received a $100 Amazon gift card courtesy of NEEF. Seven of the teachers representing each cluster were presented their gift cards on stage with NEEF’s Executive Director, Katherine Sanchez-Rocha and our mascot, Sparky!
One teacher, Abby Magin, is going to buy colored pencils and markers for the whole year so they don’t have to bring their own! She teaches theater and debate at Hill Middle School.
Jeff Jensen, a Texas history teacher at Wood Middle School stated, “I have a blank room now, so I have to get some good stuff up on the walls.”
