The North East Educational Foundation received the 2021 Texas Education Foundation Network (TEFN) Distinguished Achievement Award and $5,000 for their efforts in supporting North East ISD through the pandemic.
The annual award recognizes excellence and exceptional performance in best practices of school foundations that are impactful, innovative, outcome driven and make a difference for their school districts.
In a challenging year with a record number of submissions from across the state, NEEF received the top award for aligning with the District’s needs, bringing in new donors through creative fundraising ideas, being flexible through the pandemic and bringing the fun.
