Employees were given the opportunity to make a one-time donation or contribute through monthly payroll deductions in the amounts of $4, $6, $10 or other. Those who donated $10 or more a month were thanked with their very own TEAM MVP shirt, pendant, and spirit stick.
A unique element to this campaign was employees were able to specify which campus they wanted half of their donation to go towards. Ed White Middle School earned the top spot for highest campus participation and the Communications and Performance & Planning Departments tied for first with 100% participation.
NEEF was blown away with over $88,000 in pledges that will go directly to the innovative grants and teacher funds. Thank you NEISD employees for rising to the occasion.
