Board members of the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF) are working hard this summer to make 2018-2019 the best year yet!

On June 3, NEEF board members gathered downtown for a day of strategic planning. IBM strategists led the group through creative breakout sessions that encouraged them to perform deep dives into the thoughts and hearts of teachers, students, parents and donors. Through the day’s activities, the board was able to complete a three-year plan touching on topics, such as grants, finances, public school advocacy and much more.

“Our strategic planning day was a great success,” said Board Member Brooke Pate. “I feel our board is strong and moving in the right direction. We are ready to take NEEF to the next level, and the future for NEEF and NEISD students is bright!”
