One hundred thirty golfers, representing 36 companies and community members, donated thousands to the 2014 North East Educational Foundation (NEEF) Golf Tournament. The golfers played 18 holes at the Canyon Springs Golf Club Friday, September 19.
“This has become a really good event for us,” said Jerald Reiner, NEEF Golf Committee Chair. “For the second year, we have maxed out the number of golfers.”
The title sponsor of the tournament, Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU), gave of their time and funds to make the tournament a success.
“We have a phenomenal partnership with North East, we believe in their staff and we love to do anything that helps this district succeed,” said Steve Ynostrosa of RBFCU.
The NEEF board of directors worked hard to provide breakfast, door prizes and goodie bags for this enjoyable event.
All of the funds received by NEEF will go toward grants to fund innovative projects for NEISD classrooms.
