Thanks to our generous community, the North East Educational Foundation’s (NEEF) Denim, Diamonds, and Dreams Gala recently raised more than $300,000!
Pedrotti’s Ranch was a perfect setting for the event. Guests got the opportunity to witness the success of several past NEEF-funded projects and enjoyed student entertainment, including Bradley Middle School’s Jazz Ensemble, a Sinatra Routine performed by Tejeda Middle School students, The Dancing Queens from Johnson High School, an *NSYNC Routine from Churchill High School and more!
NEEF was also excited to have Chuck Cureau emcee the event. He has more than 20 years in the entertainment industry and is an arena host for the San Antonio Spurs! Two talented artists from our North East School of the Arts (NESA) painted at the event. One piece was donated to Chuck Cureau, and the other was sold in the auction.
NEEF’s mission is to raise funds to develop and expand educational opportunities in North East ISD schools. During the 2022-2023 school year, $590,000 was given back to NEISD by NEEF, and $259,000 was allocated to teacher grants for innovative educational projects!
NEEF wants to give a Texas-sized ‘THANK YOU!’ to everyone who attended and helped us raise more than $300,000. And thank our PTA volunteers and NEEF Board Members who helped make this night a huge success.
